Agency President and CEO

I am Troy Dunn, Agency President and CEO. Licensed since 1997, the changes in the insurance world have us constantly learning. My focus is community involvement.

Our company has been involved with the North Tarrant Chamber since 2014, the City of Haltom City since 2015, and Birdville Schools since 2017.

Currently, I am serving my second term as Place 5 and Deputy Mayor Pro Tem for the Haltom City Council. In 2025, I served as Chairman for the North Tarrant Chamber. I serve on the Birdville Education Foundation Board, the Richland Lions Club Board, the Birdville Rotary Board, and the Birdville Partners in Education committee.

Vice President & Office Manager

Kristy Dunn joined Troy Dunn Insurance in 2016 and obtained her insurance license in 2017. She serves as a licensed agent to help all our customers, but her main expertise is as office manager.

Kristy serves as Vice President of Troy Dunn Insurance and her main objective is to help, educate and guide our current clients to the right coverages and deductibles that fit their needs. Kristy always says, “insurance is not about price, it’s about the right protection at the best value.”

Kristy serves as a North Tarrant Chamber Diplomat, past chairman of the Diplomat leadership team, helps run the Network Success group on Tuesdays, a graduate of the Northeast Leadership class and is a champion in the community and Birdville school district.

Agent

Brian Gil was born, raised, and currently lives in Saginaw, Texas. He loves spending time with family and friends. He enjoys cooking, listening to music, traveling, golfing, fishing, hiking, and camping—and most of all, he loves helping people.

Brian follows football, including the Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers, and TCU Horned Frogs; baseball, including the Texas Rangers and TCU Horned Frogs; PGA and Champions Tour golf; the Dallas Mavericks; and the Dallas Stars. He also enjoys keeping up with current events, technology, and weather.

Insurance Business Experience

Brian's insurance experience includes Auto, Home, Landlord, Umbrella, Renters, Motorcycle, ATV/UTV, RV and Travel Trailer, Boat, Mobile Home, and Comprehensive Liability policies. He has also expanded his experience into Commercial and Small Business Insurance.

• July 1997: Began his insurance career at an agency in Downtown Fort Worth, working in personal lines.
• 1997–2016: Served as a Personal Lines Producer and Manager for a little more than 18 years at the same agency.
• March 2016–March 2022: Partnered with an agency in Northeast Tarrant County as Agent and VP of Operations.
• March 2022: Joined Troy Dunn Insurance as the Partner Agent.

Troy Dunn Insurance is an independent insurance agency located in North Richland Hills, Texas. The agency has been in business since February 2012 and serves North Texas and clients throughout the State of Texas.

Brian has been in insurance since 1997 and has worked with Troy Dunn Insurance since March 2022. He has experience and knowledge in Property and Casualty Insurance, along with the guidelines and procedures for writing business with the insurance companies Troy Dunn Insurance represents.
